no team, no subcontracting, no account managers. if you work with whappa, you work directly with me. that keeps communication short, decisions fast, and costs honest.
i work with clients who know what they need and with clients still figuring it out. either way it starts with listening. what are you really trying to solve? which constraints are real, which only in your head?
alongside client work i develop my own products: cohesion for associations that want to take member administration and board continuity seriously, and stocksmith for makers who no longer want to keep their cost prices in their head.
this is how i run an engagement. what you get in each phase is fixed up front; the timeline we agree per project. room to adjust wherever that turns out smarter.
first without sales talk: what needs to come, for whom, why now. then a short written brief with scope and phasing. no obligations. if it does not fit, we stop here.
sketch first, build second. you get clickable designs for the key screens, with copy proposals and design choices explained. two feedback rounds included.
the build phase. weekly 30-minute check-in on progress and open questions, plus a staging environment where you can see every change live.
going live, setting up monitoring, you get a short handover doc. afterwards i stay available for maintenance, small changes or a next phase. no mandatory contract.
what an accountant needs to make an invoice, and what a client likes to see before signing.
